As part of a continuous improvement process that included a comprehensive written review, theASPAC Executive agreed in 2002-03 that its ILPPs should be upgraded to increase their frequencyand the number of samples assessed annually. This annual report is the second in the upgraded interlaboratory proficiency program (ILPP) for soil chemical tests. It covers three rounds each of fourhomogeneous samples sent to 39 participants in December 2005, in March 2006 and in May 2006.There is a companion 2005/06 annual report covering plant chemical tests. |

It covers three rounds each of fourspecially prepared samples sent to 30 participants in November 2005, in February 2006 and inApril 2006. There is a companion 2005/06 annual report covering soil chemical tests. |

A similar program for soils, reported separately, commenced in June 2004. |
